In 2026, Papmochani Ekadashi falls during the Kharmas (or Malmas) period, which begins when the Sun enters Pisces. While worldly celebrations like marriages are banned during Kharmas, it is considered the most powerful time of the year for worshipping Lord Vishnu. Observing a fast and performing charity on this day yields Akshaya Punya (endless merit).

The 5th House represents education. The 6th House represents disease and healing. The 10th House represents career. A connection between these three houses (e.g., 5th Lord in 6th House) often indicates a medical career.
