In 2026, Papmochani Ekadashi falls during the Kharmas (or Malmas) period, which begins when the Sun enters Pisces. While worldly celebrations like marriages are banned during Kharmas, it is considered the most powerful time of the year for worshipping Lord Vishnu. Observing a fast and performing charity on this day yields Akshaya Punya (endless merit).

You can celebrate by: 1. Lighting a candle for world peace at midnight. 2. Meditating for 10 minutes to release personal anger. 3. Resolving not to fight with family members in the coming year.

Engineers and technical professionals should chant: “Om Aadhar Shaktapey Namah, Om Kumayi Namah, Om Anantnam Namah, Prithviyayi Namah.” or simply “Om Vishwakarmane Namah.” This invokes creativity and precision.

Aries (Defense/Engineering), Leo (Startups/Tech), Scorpio (Mining/Intelligence), and Capricorn (Corporate Leadership) are set for massive career growth due to the strong influence of Mars and Jupiter.
